Terms of use

Last updated: October 12, 2026

1. Who we are

Pirate Rivals is a game by FVC Studios (www.fvcstudios.com). You can write to us at [email protected].

2. Acceptance

By playing you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the game.

3. Your account

You can play as a guest or with your Google or Facebook account. A guest account lives on your phone: if you delete the game or change phones, it's lost. Your account is personal and you are responsible for what is done with it.

4. Community rules

In the chat, in carrier pigeon messages and in pirate and crew names, you may not:

  • insult, harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone;
  • post sexual, violent or illegal content, or other people's personal data;
  • spam, advertise, or pretend to be someone else or us.

Cheating isn't allowed either: third-party programs, automation, several accounts to gain an advantage, or exploiting bugs. If you find a bug, tell us.

We may remove content that breaks these rules and suspend or close accounts that break them.

5. Gunpowder, gold and other items

The game's items (gunpowder, gold, shields, prizes...) only work inside it: they have no value outside, can't be exchanged for money or moved to another account, and may be adjusted to keep the game balanced.

In-game prizes, including those that depend on luck, only count inside the game: they never give money or prizes of real value.

6. Purchases

Once there are purchases, they'll be made through Google Play or, on this website, Stripe, and their terms apply too. As they are digital content you receive straight away, once delivered they can't be refunded, except as the law provides.

7. The service

The game may change, have interruptions for maintenance or failures, or stop being available. If it were to close, we would give notice in advance.

8. Intellectual property

The game, its artwork, texts and other content belong to FVC Studios. We give you permission to play it, not to copy or distribute it.

9. Liability

We do our best to make the game work well, but, as far as the law allows, we are not liable for damage caused by use contrary to these terms, or for interruptions beyond our control.

10. Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you keep the rights the law of your country gives you and may go to the courts where you live.

11. Changes

If we change these terms, we'll publish the changes here and, if a change is important, we'll let you know in the game.
